Close Talk Conference System supports an unlimited number of Delegate Units where "unlimited" means that the only limit is the range of the Infra-Red signals, within signal range an "unlimited" number of units can be used. With this in mind, the maximum number of active microphones at one time is still three. The "unlimited" number of units is also true for voting where the system has a vote result reading speed of 5 units per second, e.g. with a 20 unit system the full vote result reading time is 20 / 5 = 4 seconds.
As an audio-only system (no PC software), the system supports one Chairman Unit and one Priority Unit that both have microphone priority functionality. The system also supports one "backup" chairman unit. Please see the manuals for more detailed information about their capabilities and differences.
With the PC software "Close Talk Control" there is still support for one Chairman Unit and one Priority Unit but it also adds much greater control of these units as well as adding "pre conference" units and "platform" units. See the user manuals for more information.
